Today I just install forum in my server and have the following report. Install process print out: Strict Standards: var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers in /fpgs/fpgshttpd/nth/forum/install.php on line 1153
And I know it don't make any problem while installation so I think if no warning occur it look more beautiful!
The problem is var is despicated on php 5 but is the only thing that will work on php 4. For compatibility we need to use var. You must have php configured to be ultra strict as normally those messages are never shown
