Otsikko: Hassles with upgrading to smf 1.1 rc3 while using smf arcade, etc
Kirjoitti: bruce marusich - elokuu 28, 2006, 09:32:19 IP
Hello All:

I was running a very stable website ( http://www.cbsmwired.org) using smf 1.1 rc2, smf arcades, and mkportal.

I just upgraded to smf 1.1 rc3 and...

the smf arcade has completely disappeared, and

the forum will no longer stay within the mkportal.

Is there a way to easily fix these problems, or can I "uninstall" back to rc2?
Thanks,
Bruce Marusich

If you dont have a recent backup you wont be able to downgrade.
You will have to wait till those features are compatible with rc3

Thanks for the response. I finally got it to work, by using the smf maintance to be sure all the files were chmodded to 777, then replacing one modded file with an origional, then redoing the mod in profile.template ( for real first and last names). I got my arcade back better than ever!
