Hi,
How can I make the RSS ability of SMF useful because it is currently useless.
WHen you attempt to use with Feedburner it gives an error because, the RSS url is invalid with bizarre character, when you use it RSSinclude (http://www.rss-info.com/en_rssinclude.html) I got basically the same problem. Any chance to make this feature usable ?

Sadly, it doesnt, the URL as I said the URL has an invalid character the dot.
action=.xml
Site like RssInclude and Feedburner cant work with this. Below I copied/pasted the error message:
The URL you entered does not appear to be a valid feed. We encountered the following problem: Unknown feed format encountered (The root element is [Element: <smf:xml-feed [Namespace: http://www.simplemachines.org/]/>])

It says in the post I linked you to:

All of the XML content is accessed via the ".xml" action... To get RSS or RSS2 out of that (not viewable in most browsers), add ";type=rss" or ";type=rss2" to that URL.
Feedburner supports RSS, RSS2 and atom feeds. Therefore the XML feed will fail :)
Ok, thanks I didnt know a difference between xml and rss.
Now it works with Feedburner but Feedburner produce unusable ugly html and
others rss integration service can't work with your format url , rss or not.
So I'm fcuk nevermind, I will find an alternative solution to advertise
my forum.
