I've upgraded from 1.0.8 to 1.1 rc3 and members can no longer see recent posts list but I can see it fine. Also "new" button doesn't take me to the new post any more and members tell me they can't see the "online" flags.
Link to your forum? Does it work with the default theme?
I'm using a homemade modification of the classic theme. I can see the recent posts but no one else seems to be able to. I'll try the default but I'd have to spend some time modifying it to suit.
There doesn't seem to be anything in admin that gives or denies access to recent posts to member groups.

I think I've got it working but I'm not exactly sure how.
But still can't get the little blue "new" tag to link to the new posts.
