Otsikko: Finding a lost forum
Kirjoitti: SMK900 - syyskuu 02, 2006, 09:47:07 AP
Hello! :D

I've got a small problem, I recently had a system crash which wiped my entire hard drive including browser settings and indeed my cookies and bookmarks. The cras was so severe that I had to buy a new machine so all data is lost to me forever.

My problem is - I used to frequent a forum using SMF software but since the crash I've not been able to go back as I cant remember the exact URL just a couple of key words out of it as I always depend on bookmarks. I've tried googling but the forum is set up to block robot.exe and spiders so I've not been able to find it. So,is there a simple way of finding a forum using SMF software? Like a directory of registered sites I can sift through or something?

Any help would be very much appreciated
Thanks in advance :)
SMK

Try using a recovery program to get your bookmarks :D

You could ask one of your friends or see if one of your emails could help you; since usually you get the welcome message or notifications :D
