I want to move my SMF from awardspace.com Web Hosting place. to xlphp.net Web hosting place. How to move them while the database name and the password aren't the same?
Please! I don't want my forum data lost by deleting the database then rebuild it again (because I'm in awardspace free hosting). DO anybody have any idea?
Just move your forum and database data, then use repair_settings.php to repair settings :) It will fix any paths, URL addresses and database connection information.
