Otsikko: Mod says it is installed but...
Kirjoitti: sonap - syyskuu 10, 2006, 05:44:41 AP
My Membergroup Moderator Mod is showing up as installed but the image link is not there. This happened after I upgraded to RC3.
???
Thanks.

If you're using a custom theme, it needs to be editted to reflect the changes

+ This belongs in the mod topic

No, just using the Default Theme.
You're right, I should've posted this in the Mod section. Sorry.

did you apply the mod before or after the upgrade,
can you provide a link to this mod, can't seem to find it.
if you had the mod before the upgrade, chances are it got wiped out.

I applied the mod before the upgrade. That's what I think too, it got whiped out but I'm not sure how to reinstate it without messing anything up.

Ok, I figured it out.
I renamed the mod's db table, reinstalled the mod, deleted the newly created table and renamed the old one back to it's original name.
If I did it with out backing up the table I would've lost all the data.

Anyway, it all works fine now.
Thank you for your responses guys.

As a note:

Most properly coded mods (those following the coding guidelines) will not delete any tables they created when uninstalled, and will not wipe any existing tables when installed.
