Otsikko: upgrade to 1.08, not hosting myself, errors.
Kirjoitti: jbinbi - syyskuu 16, 2006, 08:50:26 AP

Want to upgrade to 1.08, but hosted by Godaddy. When I log in as admin, there is a link telling me to upgrade. When I try to click on upgrade , I get the following error,

"The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF. "

SMF is an installation option from Godaddy. I would assume that I can't upgrade, but rather they need to do so on their servers...

Someone mentioned a manual upgrade in another forum, but don't know how to do this. Can I upgrade, and if so, how, or do I need Godaddy to upgrade on their servers.
