Hi,
I am currently using another Forumsoftware and would be interested in converting to SMF.
I do have a question, though and hopefully this is the right place to ask since it concerns templates.
On the forum in question, I have several different templates installed.
Within the admin section, there is also the option to assign a certain template to any board and / or sub-board, overriding a user-set preference if applicable.
The forum I would be converting is a community, a sort of centralized forum were several different sites each have their own board within the forum. Each site linking directly to their board on the forum from/within their respective websites.
Assigning templates to their boards basically ensurees that their boards are displayed in a template suited to / designed for their respective sites.
I was wondering if there is a mod or something similar within SMF that makes it possible to assign different boards within the forum a certain specified template, or if this is perhaps an already implemented feature?
Thanks for any help, and apologies if my question is inappropriate here.
Somebody else will reply, but I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, because I'm planning to do the same for one of the childboards on my site. I think it is the theme, and not the template that you can specify (I think they mean something different).

It's an option for every board, when you go to the edit board page.
cool. Thanks a lot for your answers. :)
I'm going to try SMF out and give it a shot.
