Title: Accessible buttons
Post by: andrea on May 25, 2004, 05:26:57 PM
Your feedback to this new button set is welcome:

A button set which is designed for accessibility: b/w for optimal contrast of font and background. Big fontsize. Font is Verdana.

The button set contains 75 buttons, included are 4 blank buttons in different sizes for the making of single extra buttons to the set. The border of the buttons is clean such that they work on all background colors.

Attached is a preview (zoom factor 90% hence the buttons are bigger) and the button set in english and german language. The button set is available in many more languages. If you miss your language then post a reply in this thread.

For customization (different colors) you are welcome to make use of my customization services (see my thread in the help available forum).

I haven't looked at the zip, but if you're referring to the posted pic, it's probably b/c she posted them at 90% size.

I've already created one theme on my board use'n them and all of them are very easy to read.  I just need to go back and do the same to another couple of themes.

Yes the displayed preview is 90% zoomed hence might display unsharp. If unshrinked the image is huge. I had to choose between a preview of the full set and a 1:1 preview of fewer buttons and thought it gives you more to see the full set.

Case any of the gif's were unsharp let me know. Also if someone needs even a bigger font let me know.

Thanks to everybody for the  friendly feedback.

These are great - Im gonna use them for an accessible theme( high contrast).

What web address(for copyright) do you wish me to quote on the accessible template?

These are great!!
I was just looking for buttons that would be easy to change colors. I am using different shades of pinks on my board and most of the buttons are very difficult to change the colors.  But these are perfect I cant wait to add them!!

Great Job!

Thank you for the kind feedback Vanessa. However please note that it is not permitted to recolorize my button sets. However you can order a pink recolorization of these buttons at a low prize by making use of my services as posted here:

In addition I will post soon the pink aqua theme which you are allowed to use for free as long as the buttons are used in the original context and the copyright stays intact:

Tony,

Thanks for the kind feedback Tony. Indeed that is a good question, haven't thought so far of a link. Must think over that before I can reply to this question.

Very nice set andrea

Could you also please also produce smaller 'Mark un/read', 'Send topic' & 'Print' buttons, like you have done for 'Notify'.
(So then the larger reply button will stand out more, which would be great for my newbies who don't know which button to press sometimes!)

thanks
