Title: Can this be done?
Post by: noodles-21 on October 04, 2006, 12:15:20 PM
Hi all, i've just setup my new forum and would like to know if there is a way to keep a member inside the active thread he just posted in, without him being automatically redirected back out to the topic listing he just created a new topic in? if you know what i mean  :-\

Like now, i know that soon as i click the post button to submit this post, i'll be taken back to the Building Your Community and other Forum Advice (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=116.0) list of topics. I'd like to be able to just stay where I was in order to check my new post, without having to click back in to check it.

Thanks  ;)

That is done by the user from the profile.

Look and Layout Preferences ->  Return to topics after posting by default.

you can also edit the current settings for everyone and make it default.....

ADMIN >> Themes and Layout >> RESET OPTIONS >> Choose your theme. >> Reset default (guest) options for this theme >> Return to topics after posting by default.

ADMIN >> Themes and Layout >> RESET OPTIONS >> Choose your theme. >> Reset all member's current options for this theme >> Return to topics after posting by default.
