Title: Post problems.
Post by: wulfman on October 25, 2006, 02:54:15 PM
I've just installed a clean version of SMF  1.0.8.  I installed the helios theme.  Then I converted my old phpbb2 forums to SMF.  I decided to remove the Helios theme.  Now the only theme my posts show up in are the SMF default theme.  Any other theme......all I can see is the thread titles.  Once I click the title to go down and veiw the actual posts......nothing there.  I can click reply and post.  Nothing shows.

Once I switch back to my SMF default theme, I can view all posts and the one Ijust posted.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Have you tried re-uploading the helios theme to see if that made a difference. ???

Not the helios theme itself.   I've several other themes that wouldn't work.

Are your permissions right on your "Themes" folder and on the folders of the theme's inside it. chmod to 777.

That I'll have to double check.  If that is not the problem......what would be your next idea?  I can't check the chmod777 here at work.  I'll have to do that at home.

Well, the only other thing I can think of would be ownership but I can't see that being the problem. Someone else will have more idea's than this but those are the things I would check.
