Title: y can't i see the video attachtment.
Post by: djbox on June 18, 2004, 10:38:51 PM
i changed my php ini file so i can upload bigger files and its working fine.    And i added the extentions WMV and ASX to the configuration for attachtments.  And i uploaded a wmv file tot he gallery and it uploaded fine.  the attachament link is http://www.latinspot.com/board/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=124.0;id=181  so i try embeding a wmv into a home page of my site.   but the wmv just repeats it self over and over on the first second of it.  see it here http://www.latinspot.com/new_page_2.htm  i would love to know how to fixt this.

Please either provide a test account or allow guest viewing of attachments.

Try allowing guest attachment viewing or turning off gzip compression.

All I get with that page is this:

0xC00D1199: Cannot play the file

Which may be a problem with Media Player.  I can download the file, and then play it just fine.

Compression can be found under Admin -> Edit Features and Options -> Enable compressed output.

You don't have to allow guests to view/download the attachments if you don't want to...

I just launched a board this week and noticed that I couldn't imbed videos.  Could someone explain how the above method was done...exactly what  I need to change in my ini file.  Thanks so much.
