Thanks, the more I see it the more I like it, but I was hoping for a demo where I could log in as an admin just to test out its features, kind of like how forums have demos where you can log in as admin and test the forum before using it. Because I don't really have hosting right now :S
Well that is a big potential security problem since in the admin end of TP u have permissions to upload any type of file you specify as an admin. So ur best bet would be that once u have a host to set it up with a test account and check it out.
Or else maybe u could check out one of the free hosts (advertized on SMF here) to see if any one of them offers Tinyportal?
I got some free hosting and downloaded SMF and TP last night, and spent all of this morning trying to fix the mod and then when I go to my page www.thenr.net/atr I get this
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/eclipse/public_html/atr/Sources/Load.php on line 662
and no idea why, as far as I know line 662 is never edited in the mod instructions. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

I tried installing it via package manager, didn't work, it said it was corrupt, so then I tried it manually. :S.

If it said "corrupt", try downloading it from tp.net again..but clear your browser cache first.
This needs to be deleted as all the links are dead. (from 2006)
we dont delete old threads just because the links in them are no longer valid.
