Not good i'm afraid. Its impossible ad every language here. This site is running most of the time some cvs versions. There isnt russian lang packs in these versions.
As Owdy wrote you can select in your profile all languages for which the corresponding language package is installed on the forum.
The russian language pack is still in translation so far I know. In addition the site here runs always a newer version of SMF so language packs need constantly to be very up to date to be installed on the site here. Also every additional language pack installed here causes additional work for the developers who steadily upgrade this site.
ah good, the feature is there.
i am happy, also can some write a lang package for HINDI and Tamil too.
In india SMF can be more pop then
Before starting the new ones, you should look into the language section if the language is not already translated.
Please check out this thread if you are interested to help with a translation:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=102.0
the topic is closed, and Hindi is not available, so someone plz.
read that thread.
QuoteIf you are interested in translating either the entire release or buttons, please:
Contact the language coordinator, Bostasp (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=profile;u=59).
See this topic for more details:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=71
It says to contact Bostasp and points you to another thread (which is also closed) that says a lot. so read plz.
If you understand english and hindi, you are free to work with Bostasp (the language coordinator) to make a translation.
EDIT: and this topic should be closed because its actually for a feature that already exists... sorry to make it more off topic than it already was.
You're right Jack. Closing this topic.
