i saw in forum phpBB one very useful mod, one Quick Search making New Topic:

When you make new Topic and type the Title of Topic, the Quick Search immediately, passing to other field body message, begin to search others Topic that have the same Title as you typed and immediately advise you that exist alreday others Topic with same subject, this will be very useful for not post one discussion many times because you can view immediately that one Topic with same title is alreday existent.

yes, i need something like this too.
a full text search based on the topic+body, to suggest people similar topics, and let them go for posting only after that.
