I had check out the mods for 1.1.2 version, that is yet not available, could you all plz make a simple blog avialable for SMF 1.1.2 version also.

The mod has been removed from the mod list. See:

This means that unless someone else rebuilds it then it will likely not be re-released now or any time soon.

It is not available for download just yet as it's still in beta, but it should be available soon. I am looking to solve as many problems now as possible instead of having what happened with Simple Blog and will be looking for some beta testers to try it on their sites once I am happy and written a convertor and package for it.

Not Just for Personal Queries. Even other registered Members can Post there and Comment others post. however the mod allows Personal Posts too

To share what you have to say with everyone else. Sort of like MySpace, LiveJournal, or Blogger.com for instance. People seem inclined to think that what they have to say is important and want to share it.
(In some instances blogs are used for business reasons these days though I haven't really seen a forum that had a true business benefit from blog-functionality.)

What I understand with personal diary, is someone''s private thoughts and feelings. I wouldn''t share them with anyone else, but each its own I guess
I would be careful about using Simple Blog. I am not sure that it is a secure mod. There are a lot of potential problems with it as well and this is coming from the person that wrote it!! :)

The mod worked great, I have it running on 1.1.2 without any issues, now the templates are a pain to modify, but most mods are like that anyway.
Can anyone again give me a download url to 1.1.2 compatible simple blog.. the above download link is not working.. thanks in advance
It is not recommended to use or install the SimpleBlog modification because of SEVERE security bugs which could compromise your forum.
That is why SimpleBlog was removed from the download list and has not been continued. There are 2 other blog mods now available for use which are a hell of a lot of more secure.
CAn you please tell me the other 2 blog mods like simple blog which can add a blog in the user profile... Thanks in advance

If you they don't offer what you are after, it is better to use NO blog at all, than use one which has serious security flaws.
Actually, my forums are no more like forums... It is much like a social networking site.. lol.
Either way, you don't want the security flaws in it to be used and end up losing your site.
