Hi gang,
I have never used SM before and have a project in which I need to incorporate SM into a new website. The site will have pages other than just the SM stuff, and I need for the login to SM to be the same as the login to these other pages.
So if a user logs into one of the other pages, they will also be logged in at the forum and vice-versa.
I guess I need to know what files to include and methods to call on the pages I create to determine if the person viewing the page is logged in and, if so, what their username is.
If a user is NOT logged in, I would like to display a form for them to log in with. I know how to handle this part by pointing to SM's index PHP with the proper action. But how do I redirect the user back to the custom page from which they logged in after validation rather than to the SM index page.
I have been digging through the SM code and reading what I can, but am under the gun and can't seem to figure it out.
I appreciate any help or links to other threads where this is discussed.
Thanks!
Jim

Excellent! I knew there had to be a FAQ or something...
Just what I needed. Thanks for helping a n00b who wasn't capable enough to find the FAQ. :-\
