Title: I need a clean Uninstall? (Joomla 1.0.12 /Bridge 1-1-7/SMF 1.1.2)
Post by: Pho@nix on March 04, 2007, 05:22:46 PM
Joomla: 1.0.12 Stable [ Sunfire ] 25 December 2006
SMF Bridge: smf_1-1_joomla_1-0-x_bridge_1-1-7
SMF Forum Package: SMF 1.1.2

I tried to uninstall the the bridge, but ran into page error problems!

Link to earlier topic (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=154765.new;topicseen#new)

I searched/read and made some progress by re-installing the bridge, but I am left with problems I need to clean up.

What I would like to do is figure out a way to do a clean un-install! If that means going in a editig some files, so be it! I simply need HELP doing it!  :)

Cheers, Pho@nix

You need to uninstall:

The bridge component.
The registration component.
The mod_smf_login module.
The SMF_header_include mambot.

Does the bridge change any SMF or Joomla files that I may need to clean up?

No, the bridge makes no changes to SMF nor Joomla.

Ok, that fixes my biggest problem! I must not have completely uninstalled the bridge the first time.

You can mark this one as SOLVED!

Thank you so much for your time and efforts!
