when the fadey routine begins it makes the font go as if you spilled coffee on it.
found two previous reports of this but no suggestions as to a fix.
FireFox werks fine, it's only in IE.

This appears to be an issue with your custom theme. Does the same thing happen on the default theme?
i think so, can't be bothered checking but i think it's more to do with the fader thingy and browser combination. there's other mentions of this phenomena on the forum, but like here no answers.
