Hello,
I have problem with Lithuanian language. I have translated some words in Lithuanian. But instead of ą,č,ę,ė,į,š,ų,ū,ž symbols i saw - .
What should i do to fix this problem? :-X
You may have to edit your theme so that you are using the correct character set. That should be found in the index.template.php in the theme directory that you use.
what is the encoding that you are using ?
i'm using SMF bridge (joomla).
encoding: windows-1257
when you save the file and open it again dose the problem occur or only when using it in smf ?
I have had good luck displaying various languages by using Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1) but UTF-8 is in use here and that tends to display it fairly well.
i think the problem is in saving the language files
I suspect that you, as a language moderator, would have had far more experience than I would at that so you are probably right. Now if the OP would come back with more information we'd know. :D
What do u mean "the problem is in saving the language files"? :)
