I have been trying to convert from YaBB 2.1 but I get the following error.
This converter was unable to find SMF in the path you specified.
Does anyone have any idea what my problem is.
I have installed SMF in two different locations.

Make sure you run the converter from your SMF directory (ie the directory of the board that you want to convert YaBB to). It should detect the path for SMF automatically.
Thank you for your reply. I deleted everything and started over. This time it did work, but it did not move any of the posted messages, it moved only the empty boards.

I did use the file in your message. It did do better than the one I downloaded from SMF. I was able to transfer all members but not the actual post. I get the following error.
