Title: Using Joomla! template with the SMF forum...anyone help me?
Post by: drew.a.higgins on May 02, 2007, 09:23:39 AM
Awesome forum for Joomla! I love it already. I was told to come over here with my question, so here goes...

Now, I am running Joomla 1.0.12 with the bridge to it. How do I use my existing template (the one I use in Joomla which is called 2007 from ah-68.de) for the forum?

Thanks if you can help.

you don't.

Joomla and SMF use very different templating systems.

You need to find an SMF theme that works well with your joomla template and then modify the CSS to remove or merge duplicate tags...   or run some sort of CSS integrator (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=160424.0)
