I don't know if any of you has ever visited the forum on Mp3.com, but they have a pretty nice Quick Reply and Quick Quote function. It would be nice to have a mod with this, since it save quite a lot of time.

SMF has a quick-reply, it is just usually off by default. You can enable it in your layout preferences.

With quick reply turned on, "quick quote", as I think you are thinking it is, does in fact work.

Indeed. First make sure the quick reply box is open (rather than collapsed) then just press quote :)
