Post by: williammc on September 22, 2004, 10:22:02 AM
Trouble with URL posting, example here http://www.williammc.com/smf/index.php?topic=39.0

Is this by design or bug not really sure why brackets can not be used.

Thanks.

Hmmmm, thats the first time I've ever seen the need of brackerts in URL's.

Lets wait for [Unknown] on this one.

The following versions work:

http://www.koin.com/news.asp?RECORD_KEY%5bnews%5d=ID&ID%5Bnews%5D=977

Shark and Surfer Story ;-) (http://www.koin.com/news.asp?RECORD_KEY%5bnews%5d=ID&ID%5Bnews%5D=977)

I'm not sure if [ and ] are allowed in URLs...

Interesting... I've never seen brackets in a URL before. Oddly enough, if you use curly brackets instead of square brackets, it takes you to a totally different story ("Birth Control Now Available Online").
