Ok i've applied and used this theme, and all my members love it...

A Few issues that should be addressed:

1. In PM ( Personal Messages ) there is no image for the "Reply" button, it is just the text "Reply" and looks out-of-place.

2. When new posts are made, the text besides the post title "new" is the same colour as the post title itself therefore making it a little confusing. ( some post new ) <-- the "new" should be a darker blue if anything. :D

Otherwise it's looking great.

It is a very nice theme, the only thing I have heard from a member is that the blue font is a touch bit to light and faded....perhaps you can raise the contrast just a bit?

Also can you enable it to work with RSS feeds?

TP version is in the works (I think. I don't do the TP-conversions myself). Check out the TP homepage...

And thank you ALL for the compliments!

Hey guys, I know this is a very silly question, but how do we install this theme that has 3 .zip files?
Thanks for your help!
Title: Re: CORP-LT
Post by: padexx on July 11, 2007, 07:44:00 AM
02 ZIP is the newest version
01 ZIP is an older version
buttons ZIP are the psd files for the buttons. if you want to create your own (others than english)

On the same page it says:
Quote
SMF 1.1.3
No theme changes from SMF 1.1.2 -> 1.1.3! Just disable the "theme version attention" under current theme in your admin panel.

Sorry im new to installing themes etc.
I cant find that option under current theme.
Could you give a direct path to it for 1.1.3?

Thanks
Title: Re: CORP-LT
Post by: padexx on July 19, 2007, 11:40:02 AM
To see all the option you have to make the corp-lt theme to your (personal) default theme.
Then admin - Configuration- current theme - at the bottom (the last option)

hi,

i made a forum (v1.1.3.) with a modified Corp LT theme.

everything is working super, but i get always the following error-logs:
8: Undefined index: you are here:
File: /***/forum/Themes/old_style/xxx.php (main sub template - eval?)
Line: 257

[*** - is the path to the forum; xxx - different filenames, ie. Display.template, MessageIndex, and so on (i think these are the modified files)]

what does it mean? and how can i get rid of this?   ???

Deckard73

"you are here:" is the intro of the link tree.
Do not know what you've changed.
Do you use a different language? Then you have to duplicate the Modifications.english.php in the theme's language folder and rename it to Modifications.YOUR_LANGUAGE.php (like Modifications.german.php)

I looked at it again, i have noticed that some options in the side bar of the admin panel are missing, and the add poll button is missing, the groups legend is gone and options in peoples profiles are also gone.
Sorry man
Title: Re: CORP-LT
Post by: padexx on July 23, 2007, 05:47:35 AM
Hi Trollyed!

You don't have to use one of my themes  ;D
The things that are missing are MOD related things which have to be installed manually (in parts) on third party themes. Do a forum search for more info on this.
The missing add poll button is strange. No problem over here (New Poll).

You will find all my themes on padexx.de.

So the Mods have to be reinstalled after a theme change?

QuoteYou will find all my themes on padexx.de.

QuoteSo the Mods have to be reinstalled after a theme change?

Some MODs change theme files (add code to them). So you have to add the changes to a theme manually if you add a theme after the MOD.

And some MODs only change the default theme, so all changes to 3rd party themes have to be done manually.

Please do a forum search on this and visit the DOCs. This has been discussed many times.

using 1.1.3 i get this Attention admin:
You should put "Modifications.english-utf8.php" on the "languages" directory ( http://ww.site.comThemes/corp-lt02/languages/ ) in the theme of corp-lt.

Copy "Modifications.english.php" of the "languages" directory of corp-lt onto the first. Next, rename it according to the language for which you use the file. what dose it mean
Title: Re: CORP-LT
Post by: padexx on July 30, 2007, 10:35:05 AM
download Modifications.english.php
rename it to Modifications.english-utf8.php
upload it again

if you are using another language than english rename it according to the language for which you use the file (i.e. Modifications.german.php or Modifications.german-utf8.php)

hi panic

i mean that:
QuotePosition 2: Top of all pages, mimicking a category! (High CTR)

File to be modded: index.template.php

This example is specifically for the smfaqua theme. Necessary modifications may be done for other themes also.

Great theme.

Simple question:  How do i have the FRENCH buttons active?  Upload them to the Buttons Directory?

it's a .zip file, do i unpack it and replace the ENGLISH or can i just place it in the same BUTTONS directory and change the path that calls the buttons?

Best,

l_nix

Hi,

just create a folder named french in the theme's image folder (like the english folder) and upload the button graphics into it.

hi,

you have to edit the index.template.php of the theme.

search for:
// Start of the tab section.

below are the tabs. The code for a button is:

// Your extra button
echo'
<li><a href=" YOUR URL GOES HERE ">YOUR TAB TEXT GOES HERE</a></li>';

padexx, nice theme !  We are using it on our site, unfortunately my partner loaded the older 1.1.2 version.  Since the forum is now on-line, what is the safest way to update to the newest version of corp-lt ?  We have already modified styles.css slightly.

Install the new version as a new theme and edit the styles afterwards would be the easiest way...

Yes, to add tabs (to the main menu) you need to edit the index.template.php of the theme below "// Show the menu up top".
