There seem to be a lot of converters from 3.X vB, but will they work on 2.3.4?
I'm taking over a forum that is running 2.3.4 and I need to take it up to SMF 1.1.2.
Any suggestions on which one to use?

The board has 22,000+ members, and more than 450,000 posts.
That script ran for about 5hrs before it gave up the ghost at the 77,000 topic mark...then stopped.
Any ideas how I can...
A: Speed the process up.
B: Get it to keep going.

put vb in maintaince mode so nobody can't be online at the site !!
just keep it running also if it takes all night... to finish
I'm moving it from one server to another, so nobody is accessing it.
Does anyone thing it'd work better if it was a newer version? I could spend $30 and upgrade it to the newest version if that'd make the conversion happen easier.

The phpBB converter is working fine...so I'll just do that, and then convert it to SMF from phpBB!
Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance?
