Would it be possible when someone quotes a topic with one or more images in it, that in the new reply the img tags automaticly would be converted to url tags???
Exactly the mod I'm looking for!

That's one solution. I would like to take it a step further. So making this something that someone can set in his profile. So replacing it when posts are saved is then not an option, because it does change it for everybody. So instead of making the change I want to do it when it is displayed.

Did you try it? The code in the post I linked to does exactly what you asked for - strip the [img][/img] tags so you're left with just links to the quoted images.
tried it but it doesn't work, I get a green background with "loading" in it and nothing happens
Do you have other mods which modify Post.php installed?
If you followed the instructions, it should work. At least it does for me... I've used this myself on our live fourm for more than six months and without a hitch. Maybe your text editor has ******ed up one of the special characters when you copied and pasted it or changed the encoding when you saved the file???
