Print Page - Problems after upgrade

I'm running :
Joomla 1.0.12
SMF 1.1.2
SMF Bridge 1.1.6 upgraded to 1.1.7 (according to stick post) -> problems

Here are the error messages I've on my Joomla front-end page (connect component)

Notice: Undefined variable: modSettings in /home.10.17/psychomi/www/smf/Themes/default/languages/index.french.php on line 104

Notice: Undefined variable: modSettings in /home.10.17/psychomi/www/smf/Themes/default/languages/index.french.php on line 230

Notice: Undefined variable: modSettings in /home.10.17/psychomi/www/smf/Themes/default/languages/index.french.php on line 231

Notice: Undefined variable: modSettings in /home.10.17/psychomi/www/smf/Themes/default/languages/index.french.php on line 325

Add $modSettings to the list of globals in index.french.php.

If i'm correct, the file is located in SMF/Themes/default/languages

Could anybody help me : what line should I hand (sorry for such a basic question but I'm no php guru...)

There should be a line near the beginning of the file that starts with the word "global". Add $modSettings to that comma-seperated list.

I've changed the line and... it works fine now...
