Would it be possible to have a choice of threaded or link view for pms' in the read Messages link as an option for members in admin control panel or otherwise?

In the PM section, when I click on the link to read my messages, it shows a link to the messages and the messages in an open threaded view as well. Is there setting to show only the links to the mesages without the threaded view? I didn't find his information in a search or acp.

Changes to the pm system are planned for the next major milestone (1.1) but it probably will not mean threaded (where you have a hierarchal tree of replies) but possibly more "topic" like.
