hey if someone could make a custom mod that would ping every new topic out to to rss ping servers ....... not the rss feeds themselves but say just every new topic only not replys ....... if you can do it please pm me .... I can pay not a problem just name me a price also would like say a way to change ping servers sites like pingoat etc......... but would like for there to be a way to go in and change ping server once in a while ..... if you can do it hit me up thanks .
Do you mind cheating? If not then you could use something like RSSImport with WordPress, submit your RSS feeds to your WP install, and then have that ping - only submit the topic and URL so that it (the link) directs to your forum. You could even get interesting and forward all requests that were directed at the blog itself (via htaccess) to the forum instead.
yeah i was thinking about something like that with wordpress but that would ping every post and topic thats not what i want i would like something that you could turn off and on and that you can tell it say to ping every 3 or 4 or 5 topic that way your not pinging every post
I am also looking for auto ping script.
