@Miles: What error are you getting? The update supposedly should not affect your mods, but there's always that small percentage that it may/will.

@AdviseorAnswers: Is that the entire error message or is some part of it cut off there? Doesn't make sense....

That's the entire message. It only appears about 1 out of 6 times that I attempt the upgrade. When the message does not appear, I only get a blank screen when I click install.

Any Ideas on how I can update my site ?
Title: Re: Update from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3

I have several modifications running on my site, as well as some other code changes I  made by hand.  If I upgrade to 1.1.3 will I have to do them all over again?

Also, can I skip the 1.1.3 upgrade and just wait for 2.0?  Or is the 1.1.3 upgrade essential to be ready later on for 2.0?

Thanks!

Through the Package Manager, I guess :)
I had same error with Post.php as I said earlier; and after installing of update my forum is still working properly... except some bug with fast quotation, which was fixed by inserting of string «$context['sub_template'] = 'quotefast';» into the end of QuoteFast() function :)

Miles™, one of the mods has added this line to Post.php (line 2034):

, m.ID_MEMBER AS ID_MEMBER_CHECK, b.ID_BOARD as ID_BOARD_CHECK

Other than that, I don't see any other modifications that would get in the way of the update.

Remove that line, save and reupload Post.php. Update your forum and then add the line again.

Does it work?

Can you explain how do you know it doesn't work anymore?

Does it say "Powered by SMF 1.1.2" or "Powered by SMF 1.1.3" at the end of each page?

Why don''t you try to upgrade your forum manually then. Grab the small update package, upload all of its contents to your forum directory and point your browser to the upgrade.php file. But first make a back up and don''t forget to delete upgrade.php file after you are done.

P.s. Did you make a copy of the post.php file prior to make that change sarge adviced you to?
