I believe that they should add the WYSIWYG editor to the sig area and quick reply area rather than a mod
I would like the beta version of this wysiwyg. Recently I had SMF crash and lost my hotscripts mod because I installed 1.3.3 and apparently it is not compatible. I read somewhere if you ask you can get the beta to try that SMF is working on or does it have way too many bugs?
Thanks

Nah, I think that it's better to be left for the full reply screen. Quick Reply is exactly what it says.

The WYSIWYG comes by default in SMF 2.0 which is at the moment, limited to team access and beta testers and still has quite a few bugs in it. The usual thing is not to ask as it just seems rude (IMO) You can get 2.0 before the general public by becoming a charter member.

Do you know in which time , the SMF 2.0 will be released ?

Wont anyone please think of the kittens!
Anyway, a release date for 2.0 isnt known. We release on a "It's released when ready" basis.

I agree with ALM, that the wysiwyg is probably too heavy for quickreply or sig area.
However I'd like to see the BBCode stuff put into a separate function so that if people choose to add that function over to quick reply, thats fine. And when they install a bbcode mod, theres no faffing around installing it onto the quick reply too,
