Hi,
When creating a long and complicated reply, it can be a bit of chore using the spell checker. Normally, we don't wish to spell check the material we quote, and it can be pain making sure that we are only changing the spelling of our own material. Can we have a 'Skip quotes' button?
Similarly, we usually don't need the spell checker checking material in code boxes or URLs.
Just thought I'd give this a bump. Is only me that finds it annoying when the spell checker works through quotes, code boxes, and URLs?

I don't think so but truth is many doesn't even use spell checker. (Or uses browsers spell checker). I still agree that it shouldn't spell check those.
Hi,
Well, a browser is never going to make the distiction between new text and quotes, code & URLs. My memebrs make a lot of use of the spell-checker - I often catch them using it when I use the who's online function.
