Title: users experiancing problems when logging onto forum.
Post by: resdubwhite on July 11, 2007, 05:43:04 AM
Hi all.
my site www.reservoirdubs.com runs off joomla and we have bridged smf
Your Joomla version is: 1.0.12
Your SMF version is: 1.1.2 (recently upgraded to 1.1.3)
Your Joomla-SMF version: 2.0

however when users try to connect to the site using the logon function from the smf homepage they always get a password failure. Which is always resolved when the logon from the second logon screen.

I was trying to see if it were a problem with the bridge or if it were a known smf problem.

Just to explain myself a bit better.
Users can connect VIA joomla ok. They logon to joomla, and can go directly to the forum.
When they go directly from Joomla to the forum without logging on, and then try to logon at the welcome page of smf they get the password problem.
Thanks.
