When 1st person adds 2nd person as a buddy, the 2nd person gets a request that the 1st person want to add you as a friend. and when the 2nd person accepts its request, both are added in their buddy list. Like this is in myspace, orkut, hi5....
This would be a cool mod.
Think.. One person can be a friend of other but it can be possible that the other might not be the friend of the 1st. Friends can be only said if they both agree that they are friends of each other..

I would expect its very possible for a mod to be written to do that feature.
Unfortunately the lack of responses may indicate at such time noone is willing to have a go or busy with other mods (as I am)
I hope some one make this mod coz I think many people will use this mod.

In my opinion, it'd have no point. By being "buddies" all you can do is know when they're online or not (Unless you're using something like the Ultimate Profile Mod; that's another story). And you can find out who's online using the "Who's Online" info box.

Yeah, I am using ultimate profile mod.
If the feature would only really be useful to people with that mod. Maybe it could be requested to author of that mod for it to be part of that mod.
Yeah, I already requested him.. But he seems to be very busy.. and he is just 16 and I am 17 :D
I doubt age has anything to do with it.
Some people are alot younger than me (23) and are alot more proficient at writing mods.
It all depends on the age when you started and talent of course
