I wanted to make on my forum a diferent home page, that means the home page will be a page with the shoutbox, the current poll to vote and the users stats et that are showed after the boards.
The admin have to have a option to put one of the polls made on home page and the smf shoutbox would be nice. the categories and boards should be showed in a new "forum" page who will have a link in the menu bar. ;D
Maybe a little box with forum stats too on the new home page with for example nº users, topics, posts, post per day etc.I think that would be userful.

Yeah I'd recommend TinyPortal. But there are other portals too like MkPortal.

Sorry, but what you wanted that I see there? a theme with that options? I want to work on the default first and then aply a theme I made so I would have to extract the code from a tinyportal´s theme? I´m a noob on php :(. that will be dificult. there´s a code with the option to show a poll on the home page(without the boards)?
tinyportal is portal mod for SMF.
It gives a portal page where you can show recent posts, show polls, show your own messages,...
It's a basic CMS actually.
Just install it and give it a try, you don't need php knowledge for it.
