I've decided to switch from PHPBB and try out SMF. I download the PHPBB to SMF Converter, now I want to know exactly what I am supposed to do, I don't want to screw anything up. I haven't even uploaded SMF yet, should I do that first? This is my question about that, I'm not sure if I can have PHPBB and SMF uploaded at the same time, because my host only gives me 1 sql database. If it is possible, can someone tell me what I need to do?
Never mind. I took a chance and installed SMF. It installed fine. I then tried the conversion, and it worked perfect. It's so cool, my SM Forum has all the categories, and members, and everything as my PHPBB. I am gonna go fiddle around with SMF now, and see if I can change the look.
