hi! i'm new and a noob to SMF
i insert an image logo to my SMF site but i still see "Simple Machines Forum" on the right side of my new logo.
how to remove that?
Where did you insert your logo? Anyway, rename your logo ''smflogo.gif'' without the quotes, and then ftp it to /themes/default/images. In this way your custom logo will simply overwrite the smf logo. Hope this helps

I inserted in Themes and Settings->Theme Options and Preferences->Logo Image URL
ok. now i did what you suggested and now there's another issue. It also shows the forum name next to the logo. I need one or the other. not both :)
If you want to remove the smf logo, ftp to themes/default/images, find ''smflogo.gif'', right-click with your mouse and select delete.
The forum name can be added/removed from the Server-Settings in your admin panel where it says ''Forum Title''
