I apologize if this request is the same as this one (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=12534.0), but that one doesn't fully explain the idea so I'm not sure.
I'd like a board whose contents (posts) are made entirely of items in an RSS feed rather than posts from members. When making the board you'd simply specify the URL to the RSS document and the file would get parsed every X minutes to build the board posts. The post subject is the RSS item's subject, date is pubDate and the post's body is the item's description. The link is linked in the post body if the description is present, else the post's subject is the link.
I too would like to be able to do this. I believe there is already a mod available for IPB 2 that does this.
