Title: Users uploading files?
Post by: moraidh on September 27, 2007, 09:27:09 AM
In Yahoo groups, users can upload files and photos to the group.

Is there any facility in SMF for forum users to somehow upload files or photos to a resource area board?

I know you can use BBC code to link to images at a 3rd party host like photobucket, but want users to be able to upload files to by forum.

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance?

You could also quite simply use the pre-existing attachment feature of the board.

Duh!  I forgot about that, thanks!!

I was going to say that the Gallery mod is just for pictures, right?  Not documents?

But the attachment option is just what I need!
