I'm making the following polls in SMF:

From the first poll, the user self-description will be a custom profile field. So, that question is not necessary in the poll.
Here goes.
1) User sees post and would like to rate it, clicks "rate" button.
2) If UserProfile is "allow_detailed_rating," user can pick "simple rating" or "detailed rating." Otherwise, can only simple_rating. Simple rating is just:
Please rate the language level of the text.

It's a scale of 1-10 in 6 categories, which are then averaged.
So, since I can snag at least some PHP from the PHPSurveyor surveys, what would be the best way for me to proceed?
It will be important for the users' ratings to appear in the Author area of that thread. Also, for the first few months, the Admin (me) will be the only person able to do a "detailed evaluation."
Instead of posting the PHP code from the PHPSurveyor surveys, I'll wait to read what you folks suggest I do, and how you suggest I proceed.
Also, which files would be involved.

Once they rate it and it goes into the database, put a timestamp on it, write some code that says something like "if time() - $timestamp is less than a month, then only alow admins to see it". As for the author area of the thread, that will require some modification of the templates and subs files. Hopefully i got the right idea of what you're trying to do. For future reference, you can ask these questions in the "Scripting Help" area and you may get a better response from there.
Sorry to get back on this... I was very interested to get this to my SMF Forum and since there isn't anything new related to this, I think this should be considered as a MOD request, please.
