Is there a mod, or can someone make a mod that will base ranks off how much karma one would have. Instead of a post count?

I don't believe there is one, and I don't believe there will be made one for the karmasystem, seeing as it isn't that popular. But what you have in mind is one of the many features that could be a default feature or at least a mod to an extensive mod like this (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=180724.0).
The interest in getting such a mod has been great, but the willingness to do so from modmakers however has been rather lacking so far :|
