Have you checked to see if the Shop Mod (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=65) that already exists offers this functionality?
*chuckles* If the shop mod doesn't do it then MAYBE the paid subscriptions mod can be modified to cover it. Maybe... Though this topic made me think of a convert chat speak to English mod but I think I may be going insane.
I believe, It is possible via Shop mod if you want to do some heck load of coding.
