I'm having some issues with bogus and SPAM postings, and have some questions as far as dealing with this.
First, can I set the forum to notify the admin (me) via email with ALL new postings or topics?
Second, can I import a ban list from another SMF forum, or do I need to add them (individual ban triggers) one at a time?
This has become a serious problem in the past few weeks and I feel I am losing traffic and visitors.

Is the spam from guests or from registered accounts? How do you have registration set? Are you using the verification image for registrations?
You can import the ban list from a different forum, the method depends on if you want to lose your current bans, or just add to them. You will need to have database access to each forum to do this, however.
