Hi guys,
I tried to find the answer in this forum, but did not succeed.
I turned the "Enable user-selectable language support" on, but I can't find the result of that choice anywhere. Where can a user select their language, etc....
Please help.

If you install other languages .. a user can choose one from:
Profile -> Account Related Settings -> Preferred Language:
Somehow it doesn't show there, so they can not change it. In the overview you can read "language" but nothiing is filled out.

You need to have other language installed in: Themes/default/languages
Ex. index.greek.php , for this to work.
Thanks!
I've got only English, you're right.
Now I have forst to upgrade to RC2, to be able to select enough languages.
[I already found the files for RC1 in the archive, I will use these for now]
The upgrade scares me a little, I'm afraid that I will lose the database,etc... I'm new at this, so that's why.

I downloaded the new languages files and uploaded them. It';s still not working. I am doing something wrong and I couldn't find the aswers here in this forum again.
What exactly should I do to install thiose language files in order for the members to choose their language.
Maybe there already exists an answer or a guide somewhere, if so, could anyone pls tell me where/

I suggest that you upgrade your forum to the new version.
Please tell me the exact steps you have done so far.
I downloaded the language zip file Dutch. I unzipped it and uploaded it to themes/default/languages There I created a new directory: "dutch" in which those files are right now. The image files I uploaded in the image directory, again in a new sub dir. "dutch".
With the upgrade I read something about changing the chmod or something. In my FTP program i can not fin a "777" setting only a change of read, write, and execute. for owner group and other. So I'm afraid that I don't understand what to do.

All language files go in the SAME directory. The images are correct, but the dutch languages files need to go in the same directory as the english ones.
Thanks mate!!! It works now. !!!!
