I see that there is a mod to let users add their myspace name in their profile, which will add a button to their posts along with their contact info, etc. http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=259
I would like to see something like that, but for users to enter their http://www.deviantart.com account, which would then also show up as a button with each post along with the MSN, AIM, and other buttons. This would be very helpful for my board which is likely to attract artists who want to share their work. I guess this would be a fairly simple task for those who are familiar with coding on SMF. I tried to just take the myspace mod and change it to deviantART, but it didn't seem like it was going to work so I didn't install it. Can anyone make this happen?
