smf admin provides the admin to change the attachment settings.. i suggest you also provide checking on the server's post_max_size and upload_max_filesize because if the attachment settings are bigger than the server's, it will prompt a database error only when uploading a file that is lesser than smf attachment limit but bigger than the server's upload size, very misleading. hehe.

I've searched and seen that this feature may have not been requested here.
I think it's useful to add this feature: members can choose to receive different kinds of notifications, ie. daily, weekly digest, etc instead of immediate notification only. For each notification request, they can choose different types of notification.
This is popular in Yahoo groups, or in invision board.
I just quote here the feature's description in Invision board so that you can try:
"This board can notify you when a new reply is added to a topic. Many users find this useful to keep up to date on topics without the need to view the board to check for new messages.
There are three ways to subscribe to a topic:
* Click the 'Options' menu at the top of a topic, and go to 'Track this topic'
* On the posting screen when replying to or creating a topic, check the 'Enable email notification of replies?' checkbox.
* From the 'Email Settings' section of your User CP (My Controls) check the 'Enable Email Notification by default?' option, this will automatically subscribe you to any topic that you make a reply to.
Please note that there are four different types of subscriptions:
Immediate Email Notification
This option will send out a notification immediately after a new topic or reply has been made regardless of your activity.
Delayed Emailed Notification
This option will send out a notification if a new topic or reply has been made and you're not active on the board.
Daily Email Digest
This option will send out a daily digest showing all new replies or topics for that day.
Weekly Email Digest

I need to have links in each board description field.
Which I can do simply doing the "<a href" thing.
Problem is that when you go to the board and if you click on that link the reference has changed to: "http://countryhub.biz/qldd/condamine.ctry.biz" instead of what it was supposed to be of: "http://condamine.ctry.biz"
Anyone know how to fix this please?
I was just wondering if any of you savvy programmers have come up with a way to display SMF within the iframe of Joomla without bridging it. The current wrapping of SMF within Joomla takes away the capability of providing unique urls to the board . Is there a way a custom template or code can be written which will be added to the SMF (index.template) that will pull the side and top menus of the Joomla install? In that way the you would a wrapper placeholder and point it to the SMF url ( with the custom template as the default?) - This is the only way someone can have a functional Joomla+SMF integration BUT without shared users or permissions.
I want to use my site's layout for my SMF layout, so the layout is static while visitors to my site don't get confused/have lack of navigation out of the forums to the rest of my siteq
bueno instale este mod FontandSizeDropdown1.1 desde el punto de vista funcional esta perfecto lo unico que mi foro es negro y al parecer las letras son negras lo cual no puedo distiguir logicamente este mod es para hacer la letra mas grande o cambiar el tipo de letra si alguien me puede decir como modificar el tipo de letra del mod para que se vea gracias........
