Hi!

I'm using SMF1.1.4 and the Simplified Chinese GB2312 version.

In the user registration email, the email title and the admin's email address are displayed in funny characters like this: 斯图在线
The email content itself is fine and readable. Really funny. :-[
And I notice that this problem arises when the user has a hotmail account. I tried with Yahoo, everything seems perfect.

Can anyone please help me out with this? Any reply will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I have seen a similar problem, but that was only when I had Simplified Chinese GB2312 in addition to utf-8. Now, I only use utf-8 and from what I can tell there are no problems with the language in the outgoing email.

I think this is actually a problem with the person's email settings, and it doesn't have anything to do with your forum.
