In order to keep track of what other Admins are doing on the forum, a log should be kept for what goes on within the ACP. Everytime an admin installs a package or changes server settings; those actions should logged to help track abuse. These logs can also serve to troubleshoot problems caused from incorrect settings.
ACP -> Maintanence -> Moderation Log
I thought that only applied to moderator actions (i.e. Sticky Topic, Delete Post, Suspend User, etc...) ???
Nope... It also logs Admins. When they mean Moderation they men overall as in everything done by Mods, Admins Global Mods etc done to others posts, profiles etc are logged ;)
What exactly gets logged? Is there a mod which will make this logging more detailed?
it has it all...
Meaning locking, deleting, moving, editing, merging, stcking, ect. Anything a mod can do.
Interesting... I've been using SMF for about 3 years now and I am just now finding out the moderator logs admin actions too....:-[
and news, new boards and all admin stuff... ;D
